rattle, deadening, sunroof....

i just installed a jl sub, 10w3v2, its in a 4080 box, and i seriously could not be happier with the bass. the bose now seems even worse by comparison, but whadayagonnado, right? switch it out eventually.

but i'm noticing rattle from my SUNROOF. how does deadening work exactly... if i put dynamat or edead or whatever in my trunk, will that direct more vibration to the sunroof, making it worse??

bump,

installed a 10w6 and my roof liner is shaking loudly along with the rear deck. its only turned up 30% as well but is noisy with the stock HU. Shaking everythign.

Should I start off with the trunk? Then what?

It definitely depends on how much work you want to do. If you just want to get rid of the roof rattles than just do the roof. Doing the trunk will most likely not affect this area at all. If you arent getting trunk rattle I would leave it alone to avoid extra work. I recommend buying raammat its cheap and butyl based. It made a huge difference in my doors.
