you can mount it directly to your sub box.

I have a 4080 box, so there's nowhere to mount the amp to it. And I wanted everything to be hidden. I use my trunk a lot.

However, due to competing in car shows, I'm going to step up my game and I'm going to redesign my trunk area with a concealed system for everyday use that can be revealed for shows. I'll have to ditch my 4080 box though.
