how about installing in phases..
mainly because I want to upgrade to Z2..

I'll use 16psibrick's option 2..
but have everything to upgrade the speakers down the road..

Where online can you get the scoche adpater OR the soundgate??and dont tell me WAL MART or someplace like that cause they wont have it here. i need online.

i want to do the exact same thing BUT i cant find that scoche adpater i want to change the components eventually next year but for now all i want to do is the HU

www.cardomain.com has the wiring harness for Bose as well as the antenna for upgraded units...

ok well i installed a HIGH /LOW pass intergration......and man im not impredded with it at all......but we'll see im getting someone else to check it out to make sure its done right!

Get a DD with RCA outputs. Get some old RCA cables, cut them and then splice each plug so you have the bare wires (+ and -). Connect them in accordance with your wiring harness. This converts the output of radio to Low voltage as the bose requires and it will work fine. So you will run the RCA plugs out of new radio directly to factory wiring to bose unit.
