Question Amping Front Door Components??

I've searched and it seems that every find refers to BOSE wiring.

My Car has no Bose at all. My factory spearkers read Panasonic on the back. I've changed my rear panel speakers and my HU. Right now all my speakers are being powered by the HU, but I wanna run them off an amp soon.

I'm changing my Front Door speakers soon and I was wondering how or if people who have ran their door speakers from an Amp did it by tapping the factory wires to the doors behind the HU or by running new wiring to the door and if so how did they do it? Did you remove the doors?

You can use the stock factory wires, unless you are running really high power to the speakers.

However, I decided to bi-amp my speakers (use seperate channels for the tweets and the mid-bass), and ran new wire. It is a PITA, and I don't recommend doing it unless you need to. I did end up removing the doors to do so.

The most common way is to use the stock wire. It is good enough for what most of us run. I did mine that way with my Focals and JL 450/4 with no problems. I did run new wire into the door for my window modules and it is a PITA.

Yes...running new speaker wire into the door is a major PITA.

Lmao

I guess I'll avoid running the wire then. All I'm trying to do is send a lil extra alpine power to my Type R components. I guess I'll just use the existing wire if its good enough.

Unless you are running 200+ watts to each speaker, it's not worth it running new wire. Even the 200 is a somewhat subjective number, but it's what I go by.
