Solving power loss

I have a slight power drop when playing my music loud and my car jolts when shifting from this (5AT) would an optima yellow top battery correct this issue? I already have a cap and I cant do the big 3 upgrade.

I would imagine the car jolts, and i'm assuming you're saying the car bogs down when you get a bass hit, because you're pulling more and dragging down the altenator (which is connected by a belt to the rest of turning internals). A Cap alone won't fix big bass hit problems. All a cap does is condition the line, storing a little extra energy when it tries to pull more. Pull too much for the cap and it will try to pull directly from the car's charging system.

A yellow top might help, but so would upgrading your whole charging system to handle whatever you're pulling. What exactly are you pushing?
