For some reason my Cd player and radio seem a lot louder than my XM radio. I had the united wired directly to the back of the radio via an Fm modulator. Is this normal or did circuit cit just messed it up?

My XM radio on my 07 is the same. When I switch to XM I have to increase the volume a few notches.

I just got my G35 and this was my initial thoughts of XM. The rock stations are even worse than some of the others. The quality is not what I expected and cd's, iPod and radio sound way better. My friend said Siriius has better quality because they have more bandwidth, not sure if that is true or not?

Its not about quality of sound tho. Its about sheer loudness. BTW, I have sirius. not XM. XM was just easier to write on the title.

My co worker told me Siruis sound quality is better than XM due to higher bandwidth. I am wondering if this is true. Since they are merging, I wonder how this will play out for all of us. I am not too crazy about XM.
