I really want to install the Eclipse AVN5495 double din ( http://www.eclipse-web.com/avn/avn5495overviews.html ) It says it is Sirius compatible. Now I know this is probably going to sound like a ridiculous question but is there not someway to have XM work with it since I already have a year subscription to XM.

If you are referring to an OEM XM receiver in your car, it won't work with anything but the OEM head unit. You may be able to get an XM receiver for the Eclipse (I don't know for sure) and transfer your XM susbcription.
