Alpine H701

I am about to put in an alpine IVA-W200 and I was wondering if it is worth getting a H701 processor. Does this make the sound quality much better? What would be some more benefits of adding it.

i have the processor unless you are an audiophile or got it for free dont bother...sound processing does improve the overall sound but unless you are going to mount a center channel speaker dont need it

It also increases your preout voltage to 5v compared to the 3v out of the W200.
The other big win with the W200 is that you don't need the separate control console. The management interface is embedded in the W200 and can be fully controlled through the touchscreen.

We just finished doing a BMW Z4 using a IVA-D105 with the 701. The processor gives you many tuning options. The fact that it bumps up pre-amp voltage from 2 to 4 volts is enough reason to get it.
