hey guys i think im suffering from the sound bug thats being mention about bass and treble settings resetting but with a different twist... i have an 03 g35 coupe brembo package... the cd player went out bc of the CD ERROR crap so i bought another HU and i believe its different from an 03 HU. I think its either a 04 or 05, but anyway the HU works fine with all the buttons, but the only problem is that im not hearing any bass and i can turn the volume all the way up to 31, the distortion is horrible and screeches alot( with all settings: radio, cd, cassette, etc.) Am i unable to reset this manually doing the volume pass 20 and the bass and treble down +4 and back up? bc those two doesnt reset my HU at all. is there a reset button that is hidden so i can push to reset the whole HU? or maybe disconnect a battery for a long period of time? i tried to disconnect the battery for like 2 mins but it still suffers the same problem. i just realize that when i installed the newer HU the bottom of the HU was black instead of all grey/silver... does that mean the HU wasnt a bose HU? if so that might be a problem huh?
