I have a Boyo VTL420. Somewhat clean install with a custom black frame, awesome day visibility, and good night visibility with backup lights. It bolts from the inside so it's theft deterrent.

Would anyone know which backup camera besides OEM will fit on the trunk trim panel? (Number 1 on the photo) or know the size of the camera?

I'm thinking of getting the trim and putting the camera there instead of above my license plate. I have the trim without the camera hole right now but I'm trying to go for the OEM look.

Hey Guys,

I cant decide between the Boyo VTL 420 and the Audiovox ACA200W, how is night vision on these, anyone got pictures from the night?

EDIT: Found out that the VTL 420 has higher resolution and higher lux capacity (better)night vision.

Damn the Audiovox is a bit more discrete however.

I got the audiovox(pics above).
The night vision is decent. Ill try to get some pics for you. If its pitch black its kinda hard to see. but if there is decent amount of lighting, it has a good view.

I just bought a Pioneer ND-BC20. I also have another one of those for $300 and then I have a couple ND-BC2 available for $200 each, all brand new (PM me if you wanna pick one of those up). Any recommendations on where to place the camera? I'm thinking either above the license plate angled down or offset to the license plate. Recommendations?

the vision at night is pretty good.
the backup lights from the car help and the camera does a good job.

one vote for the boyo, it's under $100 so it's a pretty good price.

Hey guys, just figured I'd mention I'm selling my Kenwood CCD-2000 universal backup camera. I never completely installed it. I tested video through it after wiring it partially up and it had a good picture (even at night). I just never got around to mounting it... and now that I'm parting out, it's up for grabs.

Anyway, if anyone's still looking, feel free to check out the FS thread:

Thanks,
B
