You didn't want to go wireless? It transmits the signal from the camera to a receiver by your screen. No wires to run.

I have Pioneer ND-BC2 rearview camera with Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD as my HU.
The quality is great. Awesome night vision. I'll take some pics if requested.

Does anyone have any experience with the Kenwood CCD-2000 on a G sedan? I really want to pick this up I'm just worried about it fitting in the G's plate area. I'm not a big fan of the frame cameras so I have pretty limited options. Any help would be appreciated.

I just installed the Boyo VTL420 and it's great .. it reverses the image, it's a CCD camea and the 0.5Lux operation -- great at night with the Infiniti OEM backup lighting...

Only thing I like about the more expensive pio and kenwood, etc cameras ($150+) is that they have those red/yellow/green lines so you can learn to gauge your distance from other objects...

I ran the wires (video, power, and reverse trigger wire) from my Pioneer HU down around the lower dash, along the sills on the driver's side front and rear .. and there is (in between the rear seat back and the rear quarter panel) a space you can fish some fishing wire through into the trunk to access wires to the trunk.

From the trunk I routed the power and trigger wires to the backup light ORANGE WIRE (2006 Gx) and soldered those there, then I ran the video wire to the camera.

A member on this forum told me about a rubber grommet that already exists where the wiring from the license plate OEM lighting comes through into the trunk -- i just ran the aftermarket video camera wiring through this and into the trunk.

Done.

I read the thread title as if the OP was asking for recommendations for a "2nd" camera body, aka back up camera lol
