Nice work!!! Probably the most amazing of all is the fact that you are married and have a 1yr old while doing this install.

I'd like to do something like this one day, but I got a few things I need to do first:

-Get a house /w 2 car garage
-Pop out some rugrats
-Get a daily beater so my G can become a project full-time

I have good components and a clean install, but I'd love to bring Bing over to rip it all out and do it from the ground up someday...

Quote: I don't know about that. You have a really kick *** install going on. I had the same thoughts about the system in my coupe, but I ended up placing first in the IASCA rookie division at Spring break nationals this year.
Congrats bro!!! That's Awesome. A lot of the guys I run with on Team Zapco did great there.

Got link to your car?

Well... Since I haven't updated the blog with any pictures over the past couple of days, I thought I would post some of the deck install.

Admittedly, not the most exciting things to look at, but I want to make sure my faithful readers don't get too bored.

So off we go!

We'll start off with the wiring. All connections except for 3 (and the molex plugs) are soldered and sheathed as appropriate:

And here are a few random shots of the deck and other goodies:

More fun stuff to come.

Unfortunately, I don't have many pictures, and I totaled the car over memorial day (I hate dear), but I just bought a new '07 coupe. I love this thread, and I believe I will be doing one similar with my system in the coming months.

GREAT JOB!! I love the attention to detail, amazing install. I will be doing a similar quality job myself in the upcomming months and you inspired me to do a picture log like yours.

I have a few questions, did you etch the zapco logo into the acrylic? If so how, I always see it done and I want to know how for mine.

Also, where did you get the little angle holders for the PCBs you mounted the LEDs to?

Thanks man, awesome job, keep the pics comming!
