Help Speakers melted

I just took my door panels off and was going to move my 6.5 Focal poly-k speakers to the rear doors and put the new 6.5 K 2's in the front. To my suprise the cones are all destorted and brital like they melted. The speakers play fine and damage can not be from voice coil heat. Is it possible that in side of door got hot enough on hot summer day to melt the cones? I have never seen this before , and neither has my dealer . He says warranty should not be a problem but they have to back to Focal. Any on else seen this before

Re: Help Speakers melted

Manufacturing materials defect for sure - not enough stabilizer in the plastic.
