Hey do you guys know where I can tap into a constant 12v source, maybe a fuse box terminal or elsewhere? I want to rewire one of my cigarette lighters to remain on when my car is off so I can charge my phone without having the key in the ACC position...

Yeah that's nice to have. I re-wired one of mine and put a switch on it. I didn't use the fuse box though, straight off of the battery.

A test light or multimeter can be your friend at the fuse box. It will tell you which fuse circuits are switched.

I suppose I could just run it off the 12v line I'm using for the inverter, but just tap the cig lighter into the line before the relay? Or do you guys think it's best to reserve that entire line for the inverter?

The phone charger uses little amperage, so you would be fine using the same line as the inverter. Just don't run high amp things in the cig lighter at the same time the inverter in turned on.

Hey what can I use to connect two 10g power cables or a 10g and 12g wire together? Should I just use a butt crimp connector?

That's pretty small so you could butt crimp them or solder and tape.

And I've been trying to hunt down some 12g power cable with little luck. No one seems to stock it...tried Radio Shack, Best Buy, MyerEmco, etc. Any ideas where I can get about 10-15 ft of 12 gauge cable for my relay?

Thanks...

hey guys

Just installed the inverter and PS2 today. I'm getting no video and a loud audio interference. If I pull out the yellow composite video cable the noise stops.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
B
