hi, im new to the forums, friends with matt (alphamatt) and already im having problems. So, my 04 G coupe's cd player suddenly stopped playing cds. It was working fine then all of a sudden, it stoped working. When ever i put a cd in, it says "check disk". Ive tried all of my cds and none of them work. I tried disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery hoping to reset the radio, which it did, but the cd player still wont work. Any ideas?

 

Mine was fixed by pushing and HOLDING the eject button (20- 30 sec.) even through the beeping, etc. that will come. It finally ejected the disc and all was fine. If not, the dealer will replace the entire unit and send you the discs later.

 

i have no problem taking the cds out, or putting them in, its just reading them to play, nothing happens. just says check disk. ive tried both cdrs and regular cds. nada.

 

Hit it until it works, usually made mine work. haha jp dont do that, even though i did and it fixed my issue

i wonder if its still falls under warranty.... i have 41k

 

The base warranty is 4yr/60k. If you're inside that, you're covered.
