Check Disk error in Bose Unit
Check Disk error in Bose Unit
I was traveling last week and my CD Player Quit!
It is a 2004 Sedan non-nav unit with 50K miles. All I get now is a "Check Disk" error on the display. I have tried to reset the unit (read as power off) and everything works except the CD Player. Has anyone else had this problem. I have checked the posts and all I can find is head unit faults. Could this be one of those?
Thanks! Chris

if you are out of warranty,
spend about 280$ for the oem double din parts, and get an aftermarket headunit.
or find a good bose unit off ebay.
the dealership will rape you on costs ($1500+).
If you are in warranty:
the dealership will replace it for free.

Actually.. if you want to just replace with the same type of unit you have...
it can be done for not that much...
if local PM me about local info...
An exchange will be done, but I will have to get your factory unit before i can send out the new unit... PM for info on that with Zip...
