I was wondering, if i wanted to add a 10" or a 12" sub to the bose system would i have to add an amplifier or can i use the current bose amp thats already installed.

Also what if i wanted to replace the front door speakers with component speakers would i have to again install an amp or will the bose amp work??

 

I highly recommend that you get aftermarket amps when you change speakers. You won't get good results from the Blows amps.

 

Yea Bose uses messed up ohm ratings for their speakers better off with an aftermarket setup

Something that I've found out about the speakers in the G35 coupe is that it was 2 pair front/rear, and then it uses a pair of 6x9's for the low tones. Working in the business, a custom install we've done is replace both the front/rear speakers with components, and added a JL Audio 8w7 pro wedge box in the trunk. Fits perfect and then leave the 6x9's completely out and they act as a blow through for the woofer in the trunk.
