Which wire harness to use

Hey I'm just thinking about chaning my stock deck with a double din deck with GPS, I need to know which plug/wire harness will work with the cars wiring, so I can just plug it in...

I have a 2004 G35 Sedan

I searched the forum I can't find the harness

It's the same harness as in any Nissan for Nissans 2004+. You can get it from crutchfield, or any other car audio dealer.

You will also need a Nissan antenna adapter.

You only need the antenna adapter if you want to listen to the radio.

Also I just want to change the deck, I want to keep my speakers the same, with this harness is it just plug and play or do I need to by pass anything? I don't want to lose my sub...

Also will my steering wheele radio controls still work with an after market deck, I love that feature?

Lastly does the stock radio have a code, I might put the old stereo when selling the car I need to know if I need to get the code for the radio from my dealer or not...

Thanks

Assuming you have the Bose system, there are a couple of ways to connect your new HU to the Bose amp. Read this thread.

Yes, but there are different modules. Get the one specific to your HU. www.pac-audio.com

No, there is no code. IMO, if a thief goes through the hassle to disassemble everything to get it out, he can keep it.

hmm I'm still lost, I just want a quick and easy way, isn't there any module I can use to hook up to the deck and plug into the exitings wiring harness of the car?

For example what I understand so far is that if I use

Nissan/Infiniti Receiver Wire Harness

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-eUSbeEu...ss&i=120707550

That won't work with the factory amp and factory speakers right?

What plug can I use, I don't want to run rca wires to the amp from the deck, isn't there a quicker way of doing this?

Please help I'm ready to buy my deck I'm just stuck here...

I just need to change my deck to get GPS that's all I want to stay stock with amp and speakers.
