Bypassing NAVI v. AUX

OK, so I understand that you can get a switch/chip whatever to bypass the fact that the naviagation system wont let you fool with many controls while driving over 5 miles per hour.

Also, and seperatly, the Auxiliary port will not let you watch video unless the e-brake is on.

Is the fix to bypass the Auxiliary port different from the NAVI fix, or are the two the same, particularly since the aux port is tyed into the e-brake while the navi is tied into the speedo?

I would be happy just bypassing the auxiliary for the time being and maybe fooling with the navi later.

Thanks in advance.
