CHECK OUT: Car Computer Started
Hey guys,
I just got my screen in today and I have a lot of other stuff coming in soon that will allow me to complete my car computer project. I will be able to play MP3's, movies, it will feature a navigation software, and anything else a computer can do. Just thought I'd share some pics. For now the screen is open but I will soon be getting my Infiniti OEM parts in to fit my screen just like the stock navi fits into the dash. Enjoy.

excellent!! I am planning to do this soon myself. but I am still trying to work out the screen and mounting of it.
Do you mind listing out your parts? especially which screen did you go with?
(from the pic, it looks like it was from digitalww.com?) I am hoping to make the Xenarc screen fit into the oem frame...
also, what is that thing you are holding in the first pic?

I will list the final list of things I got for this project. So far I've spent about $2400. Your right I went with the screen on DigitalWW. If you want to go with the Xenarc 700TSV, which in my opinion is the best screen zenarc makes, I recommend you get the screen I bought because basically it is a xenarc 700TSV. The screen I got is made by GAIN, if you know anything about xenarc then you would know that Xenarc buys from GAIN and just slaps their cover and name on there and jacks up the price. That screen that xenarc sells goes for $489. The screen I got (same thing without the cover) ran be $380 + free shipping. Just some suggestions if you want to go with the xenarc. Thanks for the comments.
