So i just bought the new Alpine INA-W900 for my 07 coupe with the steering wheel adapter and the JDM DD kit from Riverside infiniti. Im considering doing this install myself but am wondering if there is a difference in the 07 models compared to the one in the pdf.

any DIY for the 07's? didn't see one when i searched.

Here's the best I've found while looking for the user-created PDF.

That says for 05-07 coupes. Any for the 03-04? It seems the more I read about installing a double din the more problems I run into... especially with the stock Bose amp!

Right here:

There's also the video for 03-04:

It makes me feel sorry for 03-04. 05-06 is easy.

The stock Bose amp is a problem. It sucks.

But getting noise with it seems to be rarer than not, but since it is weak and has a bad equalizer setup in it, it's best to replace it anyway.

Double din 2003 g35 sedan while keeping factory navigation

I took my 2003 g35 sedan to a car audio shop the other day about getting a new double din HU to replace the factory one. They told me that by doing this I would lose the factory navigation package. Is there a way to get a new double din HU put in and keep the factory navigation working? THANKS FOR THE HELP!!

Man I'm tired of my broken oem bose cd player (radio only). Thinking about doing an aftermarket alpine 9887. How long did it take you guys to install the head unit with the a/c mod? I may have it professionally done but afraid it may cost an arm and 2 legs!

If it's your first install of a stereo ever, give yourself 6 hours.

If you're experienced in the ways of installation, 2-3, tops.

If you've done this car before or are a pro? 1-2, easily.

When removing the center console for a 6MT, do you just yank on it? Everything seems to be for AT so I'm trying to make sure since it's pretty sturdy and I don't want to break anything.

Yep. Just grab the trim through the leather boot and pull upward. There's a bunch of little screws to remove the trim from the boot underneath.

I have an 04 with OE NAV and Bose system...just ordered my HU (went with the Pioneer F7010BT). Regarding your comment about the stock Bose amp, is this something I should be worried about?

If you get the PAC ROEM-NIS2 as your wiring harness, it'll be OK, but you'll get a huge increase in quality if you remove the Bose amp and replace it completely.

So if I get the PAC ROEM instead of the Metra 70-7551, I should be ok? I did not include budget a replacement amp into the equation but I can afford the $25 for the PAC. Also, I saw somewhere about a Bezel and Trim. Are these items necessary as well? I thought the Trim comes with the JDM kit!
