Aftermarket Headunit
Most people claim it is impossible to change the headunit on a G35. Some shops will not do it. But the basic point is, if you want to waste some money it is possible. Its custom labor. If anyone is in NY/NJ and wants to go the place where I went I can refer them.
Re: Aftermarket Headunit
Neatis,
I have thought about replacing my head unit. And your right its all about $$$. Then anything is possible. What kind of head unit did you put? Did you do any other stereo mods? Do you have any pics? I live in CA, so I won't be able to check out your shop, but thanks.

Did you change your stock unit to an aftermarket one? Did you change it from the Bose system? Any pics? How did you like the results?

Re: Aftermarket Headunit
You guys are definately right about the cost. I live in Southern CA, there's a shop called Autosound Specialist where i live which makes a new molding (to place the new unit in) out of fiberglass for about $500. Dang...........
