Does anyone have any idea if it possible to watch Dvd movies on the stock Navi. Is there some sort of a converter/adapter that would allow to do this. Thanks.

The quick answer is no, but so a seach and find the wealth of information and mods that people have done and experiments they have completed.

all you need i read is a Y adapter for the video.. not worth $1700..

I called the people at Nav-TV.com and they told me that they can do it. They also have dealers around the US that will do if for you. They didn't give me a $ but told me it would be a couple of hundred bucks.

 

I'm new to the g35 but on my last car a 3.2tl. I had the navi planning dvd. I believe that all the navi screens require just a vga adapter. the rear of the navi brain should have connectors one the back which attach to the monitor. you you just need the wiring diagram to know which wires are video ones and just make a switch to let it accept video from another source.
