Are those installed in the stock kicks?
I had a similar morel/vifa install with 8" 3-ways and was happy with it except for the fact that we had to make kickpanels for them that took up a little foot room.
Looks excellent, I bet it sounds great too. Congrats.

Thanks Bing. I appreciate the props fellas. I am glad someone posted this here. Link to the build page is here:

It's quite a long thread, but I really did my best to try to show each step in the process, and why I did what I did.
Here's a pic of the completed trunk:

Yes. The domes are mounted to fortified stock kick-panels, "bing-style". It's amazing what can be done with good domes. (DLS, DYN, ETC). Off-axis response is amazing. I just had to create some under-dash panels with acoustical foam and grill cloth to tame some of the early-reflection issues I encountered.
I also wound up making some acoustical panels for the sides of the console.
Bing, I really want to thank you publicly for the work that you have done. There is no way I would have gone the direction with the speaker location that I did if you had not forged the way with G and Z cars. Showing your posts to my audio advisor, good friend and team captain, Jeff Smith, gave him a sense of comfort that what I was doing was not in vain.
I have looked at this season all along as my "pre-season". It started on July 7th, and will be over after MECA finals. My "Real" season starts at SBN 22 in March.
Doing well at finals is very encouraging. I can't wait to hear how the car sounds this time next year.
Also, Noel (digitalhifi) took first place in Semi-Pro Street at the IASCA TKE event that was held in conjunction with World Finals. His G is gorgeous. Congrats bro!!!!!

The seats don't fold down. There will be changes for next year. Nothing too dramatic with the front stage...but the trunk will be different. The plan is to reclaim as much trunk space as possible. Not that I have an invasive install right now. But I want to push the limits of what a competition street car is all about.
