thoughts on trunk system

Since you guys are the best at this and i dont know much, im turning to you for advance.

I get great deals on JBL and Infinity Car audio equipment so plan to use it.

What do you guys think about a

JBL w12GTi MK II compared to an Infinity Kappa Perfect 12in

Probably using a JBL 601.1 II -600watt Class D Sub Amp

This is not going in a G35 but a G20... thought you guys would still be able to help!

If you have any advice or comments on the equipment, sizing, power, etc. please share.

Thank you in advance

Jonathan

I'd have to say it is all about what sound you like. Me prefferably wouldn't use the subs or amps made by either company but would use Infinity's door speakers. But thats just me.

I guess it depends on your budget, between the brands you mentioned I would just go all JL, JL12W6 (you could actually go with a 10W6) with a JL 500/1 and JL ZR650CSi mids/highs (pricey but you will be impressed when you hear them) and run them off a JL 300/2. You did all that and installed it correctly it will sound amazing, just my 2cents

the w12gti would be a huge improvement over the kappas. its among the best mainstream subs on the market. what type of box is this going in?

Thanks for responses--
What kind of box is this going in... Well i was going to have a custom box made to fit my car and have the subs face toward the cabin (so if you fold down the back seats you could see the front of the subs). Some G20 guys are telling me they tried this and did not work well in there car. So i was thinkin about ditching that idea and spendin the money on 2 10s instead of one 12 (same type of JBL sub though) and just do a normal box!
Any suggestions though since you guys know best
