How Do I Get CD's Out of Stock Head Unit on 04 G???
I did the double din conversion on a 2004 g35 this weekend. All was going well until I realized that I had forgotten to get 6 cd's out of the stock head unit.
I hadn't put the dash back together yet, so I unplugged the new head unit/ac controller and plugged the stock one back in. I thought that it would power up and I would be able to eject all of my cd's.
No Such Luck....
When I plugged the stock unit back in, all the lights on it were blinking non-stop. No matter what I did, the lights were blinking. non-stop. whether the key was in or out didn't matter.
Does anybody know what I did wrong or if there is an install step that I need to do to get the stock head unit/ac controller to work again?
Further... Since the new headunit is in and the car is all put back together: does anybody know how I can get the cd's out without pulling the dash apart and plugging it into the wire harness in the car?
THANKS FOR ANY HELP

Take it apart and pull them out. TIP: Make sure you keep all the little screws in a safe place and remember which screws go where. It wasn't fun. At least, that worked for me. My cd changer wasnt really operational so I had nothing to loose. I already had the CD ERR F0 issue going for me. Taking it apart, removing the cds and putting it back together did nothing but get my cds back. The new unit, AVIC-D3, is in the mail.

Any idea what is causing it to blink and not be responsive? My cd player worked FINE before I unplugged it. Except of course, the fact that it sounded like ****.
