Check your fuses... both inside by the pedals and in the engine compartment by the battery. Same thing happened to me (plus my blinkers stopped making the blinking noise), ended up being a fuse.

I am having the same problem- radio only works on the steering wheel and A/C is stuck on Auto. Not sure if it has anything to do with eachother but the navi screen started blinking for a while and then this problem happens. There were some times where everything would come back on when I jimmied with the navi by putting it down and up a couple of times but that trick doesnt seem to working anymore. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Same thing happened to me and it was the control module above the stereo. It was covered under warranty. It just sucked because it went out during a long cruise.

its the Radio/ac control circuit board, I think Infiniti has a recall on this item but you have to run your VIN to see if you are affected by the recall. Or just buy a used radio in marketlace, DO NOT go to the dealership if you have no warrenty, cost 400-600 installed, used radio 250. Check infinitihelp.com abouthe recall"AC/radio ciruit board" gl

Not the fuses. Going to check that site to see if I am affected by the recall. When you say buy a used radio...do you mean a OEM bose? If so, do I have to go to the dealership to get it installed? Thanks for the help guys! I knew I would be able to find the right advice on this board.

Here is what I found on Infinitihelp.com
VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN 2003 INFINITI G35 SEDAN; AUDIO FINISHER CIRCUIT BOARD
On some model year 2003 G35 Sedans manufactured through August 21, 2002, the audio and temperature controls may not operate as expected. When using the audio equipment or the temperature controls, the unit may become inoperative. In some cases, this can be corrected by turning the ignition switch off and back on again. In other cases, the unit remains inoperative and requires service by an Infiniti technician. To prevent this condition, Infiniti has initiated a Voluntary Service Campaign to replace the audio finisher circuit board on these vehicles. Use Infiniti Net to confirm if a specific vehicle is affected by this service campaign (P3104).

My question is- What is Infiniti Net? cant seem to find where to check my VIN

Yes oem Bose unit, lots of people go with Double Din aftermarket units and sell the oem ones, check the marketplace "All star gene" is selling his right now. You can install it yourself plenty of DIYs on here, or use a shop not the dealer unless you have $$$ ready. dont know ifiniti net so GL

Can someone also tell me where exactly this part is located? Is it part of the HU or trim?

A picture would be good if someone has it and maybe a part #?

Thanks guys!
