At least you have a place to store your owner's manual.

Re: Navigation System

Yea the nav was a great choice. Get it if you dont plan on getting any after market fancy stereo and such. I love my nav. Saved me many times on road trips.

Re: Navigation System

Almost every post on the subject I have ever read said "if you can afford it, get it". I completely agree. I will not buy another car that doesn't have one.

However, I have seen a couple of posts where people didn't like it. They were mainly from areas that didn't have coverage on the DVD. Apparently the coverage in Canada isn't very good. You could check at Zenrin to see if your area is covered.

Re: Navigation System

i agree with everyone. i've only had it for 2 weeks, but it's saved me at least an hour getting lost on the back roads in western wisconsin. if it can find fire roads there, you'll never get lost! the fast food comment is right on, too. try finding the closest taco bell in a major city. it takes longer to scroll through the options than to just drive around for a few blocks and eventually run into one. but for that i blame Yum! Brands, Inc, hehe.

Re: Navigation System

I kind of regret not getting it now. I will have to shell out a lot more money to have a custom install once I'm in college. =(

Re: Navigation System

As someone who has only had it two days, I love it. When I test drove with the navigation, I knew I needed to have it. Simply never needing to try to make out road signs on badly lit streets is worth it. My friend who delivers pizzas is jealous.

Re: Navigation System

Sorry about my screwed up post before-- I meant that if you go to POI, then just enter Post Office, it'll find it. It's not in one of the preset categories.

Re: Navigation System

The nav is awesome! I'm house hunting right now and it is SO great...I plug in listing from my realtor and do drive-bys without any hassle. Nav is one of those things that you don't realise is so great till you have it.
It also looks great...in my option (an AAA's) it's pop up design is the epitome of a cool nav system.
BUT I think entering addresses is a pain in the a$$. The joysick gives no joy at all...there should have been a touch screen or voice input.
Should you not get a cool looking, top-notch nav system baised on that one fault? No...it's still a great option...
