The USDM climate control is integrated into the OEM cd player circuit board, and can't be seperated

Depends on the year, but I know with the 03 the climate controls are integrated on the same board as the stereo.

No. The Metra dash kit came with all the necessary mouting hardware. You don't need to purchase anything extra and it's a perfect fit.

Here is all you need:

1. Metra Dask kit
2. Metra radio harness
3. Avic D3
4. Pac-SwiPs
5. Antenna adapter

** Make sure you remember to disconnect the clock before doing any work or you'll risk blowing the tiny grain of wheat bulbs inside ($25 from Infiniti)

Just in case if you blow the tiny bulbs inside, try to get the cheap one from Tower Hobbies, the "Perfect Grain of Wheat Bulb Clear" (two bulbs included) only cost me $1.39.
