KP, i think it'd be cool to have a keyless system. Could the button go in the place of the current ignition switch?

I wouldn't recomend that - I wouldn't recomend disabling the OEM ignition system in case for some reason you need your key to start the vehicle.

But, yes it could most likely be done. I'm not sure how much work would be involved, but I'm sure you could do it if you have enough time/money.

We arn't currently developing anything for specific cars. Our plan is to develop our "universal" system and then if there is enough interest we can start looking in to individual solutions for cars.

It seems like they went limbo on the project. I haven't heard any updates recently here or at the kp website.

It's actually ready for release - we offered it up on the my350z.com thread. I haven't had time to put it up on the site - that is on my "to do" list.

I was supposed to do it about two weeks ago, but I've been extremely busy working on some other stuff. It should be up any day now, all I have to do is take pictures and forward them to the webmaster so he can update the site.

I got the pictures taken and sent on their way.

The MSRP for the complete system is $179.99 I do believe. You can purchase the control module only for $99.99 and supply your own button. I think we will also offer the button by itself for $89.99 or something like that. Our buttons are unique because of the modifications made to them to make them plug right in to our control module.

Does this system still require the key? Any updates on system to keep the key in the arm rest or cup holder?
