I'm in the process of getting an entirely new sound system installed in the couple (minus the head unit). At the moment, I have infinity stock speakers in place of the bose 6.5s and these speakers work with the factory bose amp. Is this supposed to happen? because I kept reading about how the bose speakers and amp were 2 ohms, and all aftermarket speakers are 4 ohms.

 

Yes, they are supposed to work. It is all a question of how well they work. Because of the differences in ohms, I believe the aftermarked speakers are supposed to sound underpowered. Is it as loud as the stock speakers were? How do they sound when you turn it up?
