Ipod interface on 04 Coupe w/bose

I did a search, and I also called crutchfield, and im getting mixed info. according to crutchfield, if I dont have the "cd/chg" button, the PA11NIS wont just plug and play into the stock unit. I explained its a built in Changer, but have "SAT" button, but they say it wont work. Is this true? The threads I found on here were all done on newer models, so any info would be appreciated

No G has a CD changer button. The changer is built into the HU. The aux input devices feed audio through the satellite radio input. Depending on what year your car is, you will have a SAT button (03-04) or a "Radio" button 05 and up to get to the SAT input for your particular iPod input device.

That's weird about what Crutchfield says.
I've been looking into the PA11-NIS for my '04 Sedan.

On the Crutchfield site if you go through the "please select your car" it comes up with the PA11-NIS for both '04 G35 Sedan and Coupe.

But they state that it plugs into the CD Changer on the HU (which I thought could control it's internal and an optional external cd changer).

CD Changer Port: The adapter uses the factory radio's CD Changer port so if the vehicle has an existing outboard CD Changer it must be disconnected.
But to clarify, the PA11-NIS does indeed plug into the SAT and not a "CD Changer Port" on the HU??

I did the install, and it works. Crutchfield isnt 100% correct. the CD button does double as a CD Changer button once something is plugged into that connector on the back of the radio
