Anyone know if there is a software/firmware update on the way for the 2007 G35 nav system?

I find that the inability to transfer all my MP3s from my compactflash card to the Music Box is ridiculous.

I haven't even used the Music Box since I got the car because of this problem.

 

There is no software update that will allow you to transfer MP3s from the CF to the MB. This is due to copyright restrictions from the RIAA.

 

I think its more about Infiniti not understanding copyright laws. For example, the Cadillac CTS allows you to copy songs from a USB flash drive. If I transfer songs I own (ie. from CD's I've purchased) using the CF drive there is no violation of copyright laws. You only violate copyright laws if you steal. Infiniti has really messed up the implementation of Music Box. They should fix it.
