Double-Din Titanium Dash Question

I have just received the double-din titanium dash from Yoshi at J's Garage. Unfortunately, the dash color looks more gray than silver, not matching the rest of my interior dash. For those of you that have bought the dash, is the color supposed to be gray? Also, I've noticed that the model number on my dash is 68260-AL700, but I ordered 68260-AM913.

Re: Double-Din Titanium Dash Question

The titanium dash piece should be part #68260-AM913

The aluminum bracket should be part #28038-AL700

Unless Nissan changed part numbers, you might have gotten the wrong parts. That doesn't sound like J's though to send the wonrg parts if you ordered the right part numbers......hmmm.

Can you compare it with your existing stock dash color? Does it match?

Re: Double-Din Titanium Dash Question

If they don't match and it isn't the part number you ordered, I would email J's back and tell them they sent the wrong part. You would be the first person that I know of that got the wrong parts.....

Make sure you foward your confirmation/payment email that lists the part numbers your ordered and also attach pictures of the part number on the box it came in and of the new dash amongside the old dash to show the mismatch difference in colors.

Re: Double-Din Titanium Dash Question

Thanks for the quick reply, I have already sent J's an email, but won't receive a reply until a more suitable time in Japan. The color of the dash I received definately doesn't match the stock one. In the meantime, I have some pictures of the dash.

Here is a picture of the part number on the back of the dash (which is 68260-AL700, not AM-913)

Re: Double-Din Titanium Dash Question

Hmmm... i've had my box for about a week and haven't opened it yet. I should go check to make sure it matches.

Re: Double-Din Titanium Dash Question

I've just received a response from Yosi at J's Garage. He will be sending me another dash and reimbursing the costs of shipping back the other dash to him. I must say that although this is a delay in my plans, I can't be more satisfied with this service. Thanks to all that replied to my post.

Cool. They are very cordial and courteous over at J's, I'm glad it will work out for you.
