Did some searching but seems as if it has not been discussed. For those with the remote starters on their cars, do the headlights automatically turn on (if the car's switch is set at auto-on) when you start the car with the remote? Any help would be appreciated.

 

yes the headlights come on.

yes they do. 1 thing you should be careful of - if i use remote start to turn the car OFF, the lights remain on. i drained my battery once like this so i always make sure to kill the car using the brake.

 

yeah mine's the same way. i usually turn it off normally anyway, but found that out the hard way too like you did. Luckily my brother had a portable battery charger and he came over and hooked me up.

 

whoever installed you guys system should have pulse the driver's door pin with the rearm wire, that way the lights will shut off 30 seconds after the remote start shut off.
