Angry Ipod Integration Kit Problems

I ordered and installed the Ipod Integration kit that I bought from Infiniti for my 03 Coupe (and YES it is pre-wired for Satellite, but I DON'T have Satellite Radio). Got a PDF of the install which was a breeze since it was in the trunk and pretty much plug and play. Now when I plug up the Ipod it Says "Okay to Disconnect" which is what it's supposed to say, but the only problem is my Bose 6-Disc CD Player isn't detecting it when I push the SAT button. Has anyone had this problem or knows how it can be resolved? Thanks in advance

It doesn't use the sat button. Press your CD button a couple of times or the input button on your steering wheel.

Mine uses the SAT button to change to the iPod.

I had the same issue and I have the same setup as you. When I plugged the unit in it didn't work when I pressed SAT. I tried all that "voodoo" button pushing and nothing worked. I ended up having to send it back. I felt bad because nowhere on G35 Driver anyone else had similar issues. I thought about taking the G to the dealership to get it checked out but I said screw it and bought a DD Eclispse Aftermarket HU for a good price.

I'm glad someone finally ran into that same problem, I wonder if it's the CD player or if it's the Ipod integration kit? Damn, guess I might have to sell it then since i bought it last month

I just installed mine in my 04 G35x... I simply press the SAT button from either the dash or the mode button on the steering wheel.. and away it goes!
What I NEED.. is to figure out how all of the other buttons work to toggle through the different display modes.. I didn't get any kind of instructions with my kit.. it actually looked used.. but it works.

One thing I found is that when I try to use the forward/back button on the wheel.. it only toggles what looks like the little CD icons on the HU display for the CD Changer.. i have to use the button on the radio to toggle through the songs... otherwise.. it sounds SWEET!
