Amp question

I am pretty set on getting a JL 10" sub for my car, and I'm wondering if my amp will be okay with it. I have an Alpine MRP-F450 amp that I bought for my previous setup and never used. It's a 4/3/2 channel and it's 700-watts.

I'm sure there are better amps for this setup, but will mine work okay? I don't know much about audio or electricals, I'm more of an engine guy. Help me if you can, any advice would be appreciated!

Matt

What is the output of the sub channel on your Alipe amp? Which JL sub are you planning to use?

The subwoofer I was planning to get is the JL 10W6v2 . And I honestly know absolutely nothing about outputs or anything. I know it's asking alot but if you just google "Alpine MRP-F450" you could probably tell.
