Bose system auxiliary interface?

Hi there. Does someone make an auxilliary audio interface cable for the Bose system on the G35 (Sedan specifically although I think they're all the same)?
I'm interested in putting something like the Avic-N1 (or maybe the Pioneer 910 system) and having some custom shop maybe trying to custom fit the single din unit into the slot where the OEM nav screen would pop out of (and then keeping the lid so the whole thing can be hidden away).
The point is that I don't want to replace the Bose system and I don't want to impact the stock look of my dash too much but I would like to be able have a GPS Nav/DVD player and route the sound into my existing stereo (I don't want to use an FM modulator).
Does this setup sound doable? Does it sound screwy to people? Thanks.

Andrew
