4080 fitment issue with JL 10W6V2
I am having a problem fitting this sub in my box. Seems the hole is a little too small. Has this been a problem? Also seems I will have to have the sub mounted sideways as the speaker wire pods are hitting at the top--which is fine, I just want to get the damned thing installed so I can press on with the rest of the install! I always seem to take 10x longer then the rest to get anything done on my car. I guess I just need to keep my day job...

All of the rings are routered to the same sized opening, maybe check and see if there is a little resin on the inside of the ring that is holding it out (might have to hit it with a little sandpaper if that is the case) ...
it makes it easier if you lay the enclosure on it's back when you load the sub in it and, yes, you will have to turn it so the terminals don't hit the top wall...
