i am really inspired by this install and I really want to have this work on mine. I just bought a 06 g35 pearl white yesterday, and really want to have the set up similar to yours.

Just wondering what parts you paid for.

So far i know that you have the:
backup camera
avic - z2
ipod adapter
bluetooth

I'm really new to this so any help would be well appreciated. thanks and I hope i enjoy this forum as i did in my past rx8 forum

congrats on your new purchase; welcome to the club My friend actually has an RX8 and I get to work on it / drive it sometimes. hehhe

As for the parts and cost info, I would just email my installer. I think I posted his email address already, however, if I didn't I'll do it again. I did have to purchase the double din kit with ac controller (with dual button) separately, and I can provide you with cost info on that. .. however, I think I've done that already also.

I bought the finisher from Grubbs for whatever the normal price is, however, I had to order the AC controller with DUAL from Japan since Grubbs only carries the kits with no dual button.

The part # that has the dual button is 27500-AC505

At the time I bought it, it was 32760 yen

thanks that dual is really hard to come by.. how long did the shipment take, I'm probably going to get that dual over the single.

I'm surprise of how rare the dual controller is.. i would think that people would demand this part, but i guess it's not really a priority.

Yeah, I agree. At the time I got it, I think it took about 2 weeks for it to arrive from the first time I sent them an email.

Yes. All that takes is a $40 adapter - Metra axxess ASWC.
