I was listening to some music, then music started to come out of one side. I figured I blew some speakers. Then, when I go to the radio, it works perfectly fine. If I eject the CD, and put the CD back in it works fine for a while, then it cuts out to one side.

I used the fader to move the music to the left side (Which is the effected side) sounds like bass is there, but the speaker isnt playing or is muffled like its blown? But radio, and reloading CD plays it fine!

Has this happened to anyone? Quick fix? or bring in for warranty? Thanks for the help!

 

Happend to me awhile back i took it to the dealer headunit replaced under warrenty problem solved....

Me too. Dealer replaced it about 18 Months ago, with a re-manufactured unit, no problems since.

 

My basic warranty only covers the deck to 100,000kms as far as I can tell. I'm at 102,000km. I'll have to find one at the wreckers some of the Nissan Maximas have the same head unit.

 

Had the same problem with the non-bose head unit. I went aftermarket.

 

You can add another victim to the list! My left channel is toast when playing CDs only - radio is fine. This is my 2nd HU and no longer under warranty of course!
