For the second time in about a month the green SET light starting blinking as i was pulling into work yesterday. I have absolutely no idea what could cause this to happen. I turned the car off and back on a couple times and it still flashed. After letting it sit for a little bit it went away. This also happened once before and went away within a day. I never use my cruise control so i dont think that could have something to do with it. Anyone else experience this issue??

 

Do a search...it has been covered in the past pretty indepthly (sp?). I had a similar issue and was due to moisture getting in through the wiring harness entry in the cabin running down to my TCM and ECU.

thanks i was searching in the wrong area. i just checked my ecu and there was no signs of moisture or water at all. i even pulled the carpet a little. i used to have grounding wires i ran through the rubber grommet but the whole was so tight seemed like it sealed itself. i am going to plug it up hopefully this solves the problem. thanks for pointing me in the right direction

 

Did you find the fix for this issue? My set light only starts blinking when I turn on the cruise control. Car is running fine, not sure what the deal is.
