Step by Step

Is there anybody that could point me in the right directions of hooking up a DD in an 06 at? the reason im asking is because the pics on the DYI are all distorted! i just need to know if the wiring is striaght forward! im going to do this myself cause every shop i talked to act as if im asking them to by the farm, expensive! so i figured since there is no soldering involved now, that i could tackle this. so any insight or pitfalls would be greatly appreciated or which wires hook to what! im looking at that kenwood 7" touch screen navi system!

~Thx!

Do you have the Bose system? If so, how do you plan to connect it to the Bose amp. There are several ways.

I understand your situation. I have a little green/brown colorblindness myself.

If I were you, I would use the RCA outputs from the Kenwood, cut a short RCA cable hin half, strip the bare ends, use the Nissan wire harness adapter, and and connect the stripped ends of the RCA cables to the wire harness adapter, which will send the low level signal through the OEM harness and into the Bose amp. Some wire harness adapters have writing printed on them telling you what each wire does, in addition to being color coded.
