I'll try to keep this short...
I leased a used 2004 sedan which had monitors in the headrests and a video player in the top glovebox space. Basically the install was not the best professional job. The audio output from the player was connected to an FM transmitter. So you had to tune the factory Bose HU to the radio station and pickup the audio transmitted by the player. Sounded crappy...
The player has RCA outs for left front, right front, left rear, and right rear and one for subwoofer.
Is there a somewhat simple/easy way to hardwire each channel out to its corresponding speaker? should I just keep the FM transmitter instead? maybe connect throught the SAT on the HU?
I'm not real good with auto electronics, especially in this G, so I'll need simplified instruction if you can help me out.
Info:
2004 auto sedan all factory Bose
Player: Boss DVD3700T

I know its a cheap-o player, but it's what I got and the car is a lease anyway...
Thanks for any help!

You can probably use one of the PAC or USA Spec iPod adapters that have an extra set of RCA inputs to run the DVD sound through the Bose's satellite radio input. The sound will only be 2 channel stereo though. There won't be any surround sound.
