PLEASE HELP - 2005 G35 MP3 CD not playing

Hello - This is my first post. I hope someone can help...

I am burning MP3 folders/files to Verbatim Digital Vinyl CD-Rs, but the factory player is not reading the cds. The CDs play perfect in my house CD players and computers, but maybe the car CD player doesn't like this brand of CD?

Has anyone else had this problem? What CDs do you know work for sure?

Thanks!

Help!

This is really pissing me off. It will play these burned Verbatim CDRs that have the converted full size wav audio files, but it has "Check Disk" when there are mp3 files. WTF?

I haven't tried other CDRs yet, but these are some of the best available so it must be the player, right? I have tried to burn 5 of these Verbatim CDRs now with MP3 files in and out of folders, and it will only play if they are the full size files.

DAMMIT!!! I wanna punch it... It says MP3 on it, is this BS?

Have you tried burning at a very slow speed, like 2x and making sure that your file names are not exceeding a certain length. I am not sure if the owner manual tells you folder structure and filename limitations for the Blose but you want to do the very basics to differentiate whether it's borked or a design limitation.

I don't think it's the CD itself, so brand shouldn't matter. What program are you burning with? When I had my stock 05 bose deck, I just dragged and dropped files using Nero as a data CD, and it worked fine.
