I am running a custom built ported box for my 12W6v2. I refuse to use a 4080 box. I prefer my W6 to be in a ported enclosure.

to answer your question....Yes. lol. JK. You get what you want to get, but I will guarentee you if you spend the money on just one 4080 box, you won't regret it.

The first reason is that it sound really good. I was a little skeptical at first about just getting one side and that it wouldn't sound good. Boy was i wrong. It sounds great with just a single $40 Sony sub from wal-mart. I can't even imagine how much better it would sound with a JL sub in it.

The second reason is that it gives you sooo much more trunk space than any other box. if you make a lot of errands or trips to the store and put stuff in your trunk, the 4080 box allows you to utilize your trunk more efficiently by being tucked in a corner allowing you to put all of your groceries and what nots in the trunk.
