I think i blew a fuse

so i have my REM wire for my amp hooked up to an accessory wire behind the dash

i think it shorted, becuase my dash light wont come on and i have no use of any button in the center console, cant turn on/off AC but the clock and stuff on that bar still works, cant turn on radio cig lighter still works, gas light/slip light still works. is there a fuse i can quickly identify or did i fry something in the back? i checked a couple 10A fuses in the front all seemed fine. is there something specific i need to look for? 05 G35 Sedan

TIA

+1 ..good thing to have is a tester. Sometimes the fuse is bad and you can't tell from a visual inspection.

But always disconnect the battery when working, the whole entire car is the negative part of a battery, you can easily short something out even when your extra careful.

^+1 Make sure, make sure, make sure to disconnect the battery when working on electronic parts in your car.

That happened to me recently on a install on a coupe. His center console lights didn't come on a his shifter wouldn't unlock. It turned out to be a 10A fuse by the driver side. Should be labeled "electronic" or "elec". Recheck those again to make sure you didn't miss any.
