$500 is great but $700 for the bundle is still an awesome price. Considering it sells for $1000 retail in most places. Best buy had this deal for a week in-store and I took advantage. I think it goes on until Saturday.

 

what about the mic option for the D3, is it already integrated into the HU?

No, I know mine came with a mic because it has bluetooth but I'm not sure otherwise. You clip the provided mic onto your visor or somewhere around your face.

 

The AVIC-D3 definitely doesn't...but maybe something like the Z1 or Z2 might because it flips, but I doubt it. These are the reasons why OEM navigations are so nice because they hide. But I bought my car used at a price I couldn't turn down and it was not equipped with the factory navigation. So I'd rather take my chances and buy an aftermarket for $700 when it does plenty more than the OEM would.
