I would stay away from Eclipse. They have a great navigation system, but their bluetooth sucks. Not good at all.
Honestly, between Pioneer and Kenwood, I would take the Kenwood because there is no need to keep a navi disc loaded in the unit. The Kenwood utilizes a Garmin system thats loaded on a hd.
The DNX-5120 has better quality ipod video playback as well.

Keep the suggestions coming, guys.

Didn't know that about the D3, though. Good info.
Okay, so with the D3...What if I didn't want directions...but wanted the HU to display my location so I could see upcoming streets and whatnot. Does the Navi disc have to be inserted the entire time...which means I wouldn't be able to listen to music?

I know this is a stupid factor to consider when choosing a Navi system, but I'm not feeling the looks of the DNX5120 at all.
Having said that, what would you say about the Eclipse AVN5510? Would you say it'll meet my requirements (besides the 6.5"+ screen part)?
- A good navigation system that won't get me lost -___-
- Ability to listen to CD's while using the Navi DVD
- Ability to watch DVD's while not in Park (from what I've read I can ground it so that it'll always be able to play)
- User friendly (Some of the HU's I see people with are confusing as fack!)
- 6.5"+ Touch Screen
- Retain stock steering wheel controls
- iPod compatible

You really need to decide what your priority really is. No DD is going to be able to match the navigation capabilities of a portable NAV such as Garmin. They will always be outdated and DVD based navigation is always going to slower than a HD based unit. If you only plan on using the nav occasionally, and DVD/multimedia capabilities are what are important, then get a DD

The unit is 7" which is a plus.
As for not liking the DNX5120, it looks pretty much exactly like a D3.

Video playback is not a concern for me. I don't have that fancy of an iPod, anyway.
And I'm not a sound audio geek. So long as the quality meets that of the stock HU (which isn't saying much), I'm satisfied.

Let's see a new DD kit with AC control for an 06 will run you about $285 shipped unless you find one used https://g35driver.com/forums/archived-sales/217753-fs-dd-conversion-kit-coupe.html since they are sold out all over the states and there is a backorder on them for about 1 or 2 months, and a PIONEER AVIC D3 can be obtained for about $500 if you know where to look http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...Mail-In+Rebate The installation is easy if you know what you're doing and can read DIY to save money. It can be achieved for less than $850 Hope this helps, best of luck.
