I am the proud new owner of an 06 6MT (fewer than 24 hours). The one question that I had that the seller could not answer for me is why there is always a dash light right in front of me that says "REV". The manual says that is where the auto gear indicator would be but I have the standard. And I'm definately not going in reverse. Is it just a malfunctioning light? Thanks in advance.

 

the rev is for the 6mt it is a shift light that comes on when you set the rpm you want. it is a little red light that blinks. to set it higher you have to push the trip button till it comes to the setting then set it to like 6500 or 7000ish

 

it always stays on. the shift light that comes on is right below it i believe... just a red light that comes on when you hit a desired rpm
